Pangasa After Care

Pangasa coats are available with either natural fur trims or faux fur trims. Each type has its own qualities and care recommendations.

1. Natural Fur Trims

  • Natural fur may shed (moult) during the first few wears. This is completely normal and will settle once the loose hairs have fallen away.

  • To help speed this up, gently shake the coat outside or hang it in fresh air before wearing.

  • As a natural product, no two fur trims will ever be identical — variations in shade, length, and texture are part of what makes each coat unique.

2. Faux Fur Trims

  • Faux fur trims are crafted from high-quality synthetic fibres.

  • They are less likely to shed compared to natural fur, though some loose fibres may still appear initially.

  • Faux trims are designed to be more uniform, so differences between coats are minimal.

3. General Care for All Trims

  • Hang your coat in a well-ventilated space to maintain its shape and quality.

  • Lightly shake or use a soft clothes brush to smooth the fur.

  • Avoid direct heat sources such as radiators or hairdryers.

  • If storing for a longer period, use a breathable garment bag.

  • Do not wash the fur - always remove before washing the knit, take fur to a professional fur-cleaning dry cleaner only.
